Women in Beer

To celebrate Womens Internation Day Sajonia Brewing wanted to focus on the untold history of women in beer making.

Beer advertisement in general has, for years, objetified women bodies. So as an effort to tell a different story we did some research on womens role thorughout the history of beer making. I designed this small illustrated infographics with information about each relevant period.From ancient Egypt where the beer was almost exclusvely produced by women, to the Middle Ages when brewers could be mistaken by witches, to nowadays.
